Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of bestemergencyroofrepair.com (the “Site”) and the referral service provided by Burdoz LLC, doing business as Best Emergency Roof Repair of Alabama (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or our phone line, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

1. What We Do

We operate a free referral service that connects homeowners and property owners in Alabama with independent, third-party roofing contractors. We are not a roofing contractor, and we do not perform, supervise, or guarantee any roofing work. When you submit a request, we pass your information to one or more independent contractors who may contact you.

2. Independent Contractors

Every roofer we refer is an independent business that is not owned by, employed by, or affiliated with Burdoz LLC. Any estimate, contract, work, warranty, or payment is strictly between you and that contractor. We make reasonable efforts to work with established, insured contractors, but we do not verify every license, insurance policy, or credential, and we make no representation or warranty about any contractor’s qualifications, availability, pricing, or the quality, safety, or timeliness of their work. You are responsible for evaluating any contractor before hiring them, including asking for proof of license and insurance.

3. No Emergency Services Guarantee

We aim to connect you with a roofer quickly, but we cannot guarantee that a contractor will be available, respond within any particular time, or accept your job. In a situation involving immediate danger to people or property, call 911 or your local emergency services first.

4. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, to use the Site only for legitimate requests for roofing services at a property you own or are authorized to act for, and not to submit spam, false requests, or anyone else’s personal information without their consent.

5. Phone Calls and Messages

By calling our phone line or submitting the form, you agree that we and the contractor(s) we refer may contact you by phone or email about your request. Calls may be recorded as described in our Privacy Policy. Text messages are sent only if you separately opt in.

SMS / Text Message Terms

Best Emergency Roof Repair of Alabama (operated by Burdoz LLC) offers optional text-message updates about your roof repair request. You will only receive texts if you opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our request form or by texting our number first. Messages may include confirmation that we received your request, follow-up about scheduling an estimate, and replies to your questions. Message frequency varies depending on your request. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or service.

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message, after which you will receive one final confirmation text and no further messages. For help, reply HELP or email bestemergencyroofrepairal@gmail.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your phone number and text opt-in will never be shared with or sold to third parties for their marketing purposes; it is used only to respond to your request and, with your consent, shared with the local roofer we connect you with.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

The content on the Site — text, design, and images — belongs to Burdoz LLC or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission. Information on the Site is general in nature and is not a substitute for a professional inspection of your specific roof.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND OUR REFERRAL SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BURDOZ LLC AND ITS OWNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM THE WORK, CONDUCT, OR OMISSIONS OF ANY INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR, YOUR USE OF THE SITE, OR YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION ON IT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE OR SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Burdoz LLC and its owners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Jefferson County, Alabama.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version here. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the new Terms.
